I have a problem. I am a Lamp-Aholic. And I've got it bad.
But, thankfully, it's a rather cheap addiction.
I brought this baby home yesterday for $5.

It was also $5 and I didn't have to do a thing but put a new (which I had) lampshade on it.
The first lamp had some really pretty details on the glass which I loved.
So, I made sure to only paint the base and the top.
The lampshade was in pretty bad shape. I tore off the fabric and trim and hot-glued some burlap onto the shade.
Here you can see that I just tucked some over on the edges - top and bottom - and hot glued it in place. If I find some fancy ribbon, I may add that later, but for now, I'm pretty happy with it.
And lit.
$5 and 30 minutes. Not too shabby.
