At the risk of sounding like a mean Momma, I'd like to share with you something that really Works For Me:
Child Labor
That's right.
I make my kids work.
I started when they were little and I taught them to pick up their toys. As they got older, they each started to have more responsibilities.
This kid does the laundry. He's been doing it since he was 5, at various levels.
Now, after the creation of our "Family Closet", both boys are responsible to fold and put away the clothes after they've been washed and dried.
I've worked myself out of a job and it feels great.
My kids are learning that as a family, we all work together to keep the house running smoothly. I am learning not to be so perfectionistic that I don't let them help.
Meanwhile, I can do something besides folding clothes all day.

Don't forget, tomorrow is Living In Thanksgiving!
A Giveaway is in the near future, too, so be sure to stop back soon.
