When Cowboys Need Curtains

So, the cowboys needed new curtains.

The soft, furry window coverings from when their room used to be our romantic master bedroom, just weren't cutting it.

But, I couldn't think of anything to make that would suit their room.

Then, while shopping at Target, I spied these rugs on clearance for $12.48.

Izzy got very excited

He thought that since I was buying rugs, that meant their cold wood floors would now be warm to his bare feet.

That was not to be, sadly, as I intended to use these rugs for curtains. Poor kid.

"Curtains?"

Yup. I know you all think I've surely lost it now.  But really, I haven't.

Here's what I did:

I took the stitches out of one end of the rug which was sewn over.

Then, I made a pocket for the curtain rod.

And yeehaw!!  The cowboys got curtains.

If you're really cool, like us, you can use horseshoes for the tiebacks.
